I am not doing very well at maintaining a regular blog, but it has been fun reading and commenting on a friend's one.
Since my last blog in june, life has been full of ups and downs for me and the family.
Malcolms mum has been very poorly and it is so sad to see her 100 years slip by slowly to kidney disease. I spent a few days in hospital - nothing new there, but it came at a time that M's mum was extremely poorly and there was very little hope of her recovery. Stress doesnt even begin to sum it up.
Nicola and Andy are moving house at the end of August...fortunately still quite near to us. Can a mum ever be so delighted?
Jonathan remains unattached ( I think) He's happy.
Promise to blog again soon - too much to blog over right now.

Wet Tuesday
Have spent a most enjoyable hour catching up on Morags Blog and gazing in awe at her photos....i gotta carry a camera!
Since my last posting we have successfully been and returned from a holiday in Italy stopping overnight in France
Held a party for my son Jonathan, and hosted his friend and wife and 2 year old daughter for a week. They were only supposed to stay a few days, so i had to do a bit of life re-planning. 2 year old Holly is my God-daughter. They live in Montrose, so i guess she found my Essex accent a bit weird. Drink, Biscuit, Fish, Banana are among several universally accepted phrases for a 2 year old.
I need to take stock and get on top of the back log of work i have. A Book sale, District Scout BBQ, Church Parade, various appointments........... perhaps i need some sort of sabbatical and its hardly suprising i dont keep the blog up to date. Must try harder next time.
